Title: "Flush"
Author: Carl Hiaasen

Review: I had read "Scat" and "Hoot," both are from this author, and wanted to read "Flush." It is about a boy named Noah and his father who always gets sent to jail trying to protect the environment in ways that the local police don't like. The main problem is that a guy named Dusty Muleman is dumping his boat's sewage into the sea and it is drifting into the nearby water park. Noah and his sister, Abby, have to try to stop him. The story was interesting with a fast paced plot.

Review: This book is about a little kitten that gets abandoned from his mom and finds a little boy in the park that tripped over a rock and in front of him was a little kitten and he named him Chi and took him home and his parents say that Chi likes to play with too many things around the house and he likes to make a big mess on the floors. But it is too cute to resist.

A REALLY COOL TEEN SUBMITTED THIS REVIEW:

Title:” Scat”
Author: Carl Hiaasen

Review: “Scat” is a book that I reread from when I read it in the summer reading club. It was exhilarating nearly the entire time. There is a boy and his name is Nick. He and everyone in his grade hate a science teacher named Mrs. Starch. She is believed to be cruel. But everyone gets worried when she disappears in a field trip to Black Vine swamp. No one can contact her including the teachers and the dean. Nick gets a little suspicious and decides to snoop around a bit. But what he finds is a great big secret. Overall, “Scat” is a great book for animal lovers, like me! It has a dash of mystery but is mostly an adventure. It is a great book.

Title: “Young Warrior: The Way of the Sword”
Author: Chris Bradford

Review: This book takes place in about 1744 century Japan. This is the second book to the series of Young Samurai. A foreigner named Jack was adopted by great samurai named Masamoto and taught the Way of the Warrior. The first book is called “Young Samurai: The Way of the Warrior.” Now Jack is to learn the way of the sword to compete in the Circle of Three, which are three challenges of mind, body, and soul you have to take in order to learn the Two Heavens sword fighting, which is using two swords to fight instead of one. While this is going on, he hears disturbing news that a ruling leader in one of the provinces is killing all the foreigners in Japan. He is also afraid of a ninja named Dragon Eye, because he has only one green eye. The ninja has attacked him several times before and that is why he had to become a samurai. The entire book is very great if you like people fighting and those kinds of books.

Title: "Sleepover"

Review: This is a great movie to watch when you are having a sleepover with your friends. It is about
this girl and her friends that are not so popular and are in middle school. They are in a race against
another girl who is popular and who ever wins the race then they will get the high school lunch spot or
the dumpster which by the name you will know that it doesn't sound pleasant. Well they get a list of
things that they have to find and who ever gets the crown at the dance then they win. Do you want to know who wins well if you do then go out and get the movie. I will assure you that it is awesome and you will love it and it's also good for sleep overs. :)
